leading to the loss of a unified sense of self and the fragmentation of subjectivity traditional-
ly associated with being human. The text emphasizes that although technology promises to
surpass biological limitations, it simultaneously carries the risk of losing authentic experience
and emotional grounding in the body. It should be added that the cyborg identity becomes
a metaphor for the modern subject-dispersed, hybrid, and susceptible to fragmentation in the
