W niniejszym rozdziale omówione zostaną wypowiedzi kontrowersyjnego patriarchy
Cyryla I. Przedmiotem analizy są tylko te elementy dyskursu religijno-politycznego, które
dotyczą jego typowych poglądów politycznych, a nie teologicznych, właściwych dla dyskursu
religijnego. Patriarcha, jako głowa tego kościoła, ogłasza te poglądy na oficjalnych synodach,
w postaci nakazów Cerkwi, obowiązujących duchownych i świeckich, występuje w parlamencie
rosyjskim i na spotkaniach z prezydentem kraju. W większości jego dyskurs dotyczy polityki,
choć częściowo pojawiają się elementy teologiczne, ale wykorzystywane do propagowania
idei ‘ruskiego miru’. Z tego też względu nie da się rozłączyć tych obu elementów, zwłaszcza po
rozpoczęciu wojny Rosji z Ukrainą.
This chapter will discuss the statements of the controversial Patriarch Kirill I. The
subject of the analysis focuses only on those elements of the religious and political discourse
that concern his typical political views, and not the theological views specific to religious
discourse. The patriarch, as the head of this church, announces these views at official synods,
in the form of Church orders binding on clergy and lay people, and appears in the Russian
parliament and at meetings with the president of the country. Most of his discourse concerns
politics, although there are some theological elements, but it is used to promote the idea of
‘Russian Mir’. Therefore, these two elements cannot be separated, especially after the start
of the war between Russia and Ukraine.
