Abstract

The main issue discussed in the article is the moral aspect of economic activity. The article presents major ethical systems and the problem of different moral judgements in practice. Each human act can be either ethical, unethical or ethically neutral. Moral evaluation of an act and moral responsibility of a person must be distinguished. Ethical systems presented in the article are complemented by examples from economic activity. The frames suggested by the author can be employed in research of ethical and unethical behaviour in economic life while taking into account different moral systems. However, in order to carry out successful research in this area, it is necessary to develop a precise set of indicators.
